Necromantic Rituals in Mortal Online 2

Necromantic Rituals in Mortal Online 2 is a fun system that includes raising animals from the dead and commanding them as your pets. We’ve put together a post that covers most of Necromantic Rituals, the basics, answered some questions you may have, and some helpful tips.

How to Unlock Necromantic Rituals

Requirements

To unlock Necromantic Rituals you will first need to have Necromancy Spells unlocked, this is the parent skill to Necromantic Rituals so it is also important to level both action skills to have stronger risen pets.

Carved Bones

Once you are ready to learn Necromantic Rituals you will need to obtain 50 Carved Bones. Carved Bones can be obtained from Necromancer mobs that can be found across the map in Mortal Online 2 in places like necromancy POI’s and the necromancy dungeon.

Fabernum Tower

With the 50 Carved Bones, you will need to locate the Necromancy Rituals vendor NPC which can be found in Fabernum Tower. This is in an obscure place and you will need to look for a hidden wall.

How to Level Necromantic Rituals

Leveling this action skill in Mortal Online 2 can be quite expensive, once you have unlocked Necromantic Rituals you will need ritual candles and ritual circles to help level up.

Ritual Candle and Ritual Circle

The Ritual Candles and Ritual Circles can be bought from the Necro Hut for 1G each, located northeast of the Minotaur Dungeon. Each ritual will grant you 9 experience, and you will need one candle, one circle, and enough carcass for what animal you would like to raise.

The Tupilak

Once reaching level 25 you will be able to unlock the Tupilak abilities, using the tupilak abilities will grant you 9 experience per use, this is a cheaper way to level Necromantic Rituals as it won’t cost you 2G per 9 experience after level 25.

Raising Pets

Important information for when it comes to raising pets, you will need to turn criminal actions on to raise the pet, once the pet has risen you will be grey so stay clear of towns and guards. This also includes NPC guards placed by players with Territory Control.

Raising the pet will also cost you one psyche point, however, this is not permanent and after relogging you will be given the attribute point back.

Risen Pets are quite weak in the beginning, but they will raise with more health points depending on the level of your Necromantic Rituals.

Carcass Backing

Carcass Backing is another way to increase the health of your risen pets, you will need to place this in the bottom carcass slot, we recommend using Molva or Troll carcass to get strong pets.

Ritual Pet Calculator

We also have a Mortal Online 2 Ritual pet calculator, where you can select a pet, and see how much carcass is needed.

Gems

When raising pets you will notice that there is a gem slot in the ritual circle. This is a good way to increase the damage and strength of your Risens, there are a good handful of different gems that can be placed into this slot, from best to worst:

Adamant > Ruber > Topaz > Amethyst > Red Coral

Artifacts

Artifacts is another slot in the ritual circle, however, artifacts are very rare and players sell them for a lot of money. There hasn’t been much testing with Artifacts and Risen Pets but you can find parts of an artifact across the map in Mortal Online 2, combine them together to create an artifact that could lead to an extremely strong risen.

Leveling Risen Pets

A fast way to level risen pets is to unlock Animal Care, so you lower the experience tick from 10 seconds to 6 seconds. Then set the pet to defensive and attack your risen so it attacks you back.

Questions

How to raise a Tupilak?

To raise a Tupilak you will need a ritual candle, a tupilak ritual circle, 4,000 Troll Carcass, 4,000 Minotaur Carcass, 4,000 Coralis Crab Carcass, and two sets of 4,000 of another carcass of your choice, this is for backing so it’s not important, players usually recommend horse carcass.

Why does my Risen pet attack my Horse?

You cannot have a risen pet and a pet that is a tame at the same time, this is because the risen will instantly start attacking the tame and cannot be stopped. The only way is to place one of them in an equerry.

Yes, you can have multiple Risen pets. However, you can only have one combat-ridden pet at a time. For example, risen horses do not attack so you can have a risen horse and a risen dire wolf. The same rule applies to combat pets, if you raise a second combat pet, the first combat pet will instantly die.
