Dragon's Dogma 2 Hunt for the Jadeite Orb

This post will quickly cover the quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2 Hunt for the Jadeite Orb. This quest does depend on your own choices that you make and will affect the outcome and reward.

Ibrahim Dragon's Dogma 2 Jadeite Orb

Unlocking the Hunt for the Jadeite Orb

Offulve

After arriving at the Checkpoint Town in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you will get stopped by Offulve which will start the quest ‘Hunt for the Jadeite Orb‘. Offulve will explain that they have lost the orb, and want to escape the town with the orb to fund his plan.

Everard

Once running into Everard at the Checkpoint Town they will explain that they are looking for someone named ‘Offulve‘ and that they have run off with the valuable Jadeite Orb.

Where to find the Jadeite Orb

The Jadeite Orb can be found in the same town as the quest begins, Checkpoint. There is a store run by Ibrahim down the alleyway and he will sell the Jadeite Orb to you.

Best outcome for The Jadeite Orb

The best outcome for the Hunt for the Jadeite Orb questline is by simply talking to Ibrahim and paying him to forge the Jadeite Orb item for you. This means you can give both Offulve and Everard the Jadeite Orb and receive both rewards.

Giving Everard the forged item will result in him going to Ibrahim and having it checked to see if it is real. You can then bride Ibrahim to lie to Everard but it will save you money if you give Everard the real Jadeite Orb. Everard will give you 12,000 gold as a reward.

You then should give Offulve the forgery and he will grant you an Elite camping kit and 3,000 gold.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Questions

Should I give the Jadeite Orb to Offulve or Everard?

Everard will give you the bigger reward in terms of gold but by forging the item at Ibrahim, you can complete both quests and get the rewards from both NPCs.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Hunt for the Jadeite Orb is quite a small quest but it can be completed in the same town where the quest starts making it a nice quest to complete that doesn’t require any travelling. Check out our other guides on our Dragon’s Dogma 2 page.
