How to obtain the Otto mount in WoW Dragonflight
In this mount guide, we have covered each of the steps that are needed to obtain the Otto mount from the new World of Warcraft expansion, Dragonflight. We have provided all of the information you will need with a few tips and tricks along the way.
- The Great Swog
- The Bubble Bath, The Dive Bar
- Hissing Grotto
The Great Swog:
First, you need the Aquatic Shades Toy from The Great Swog’s immaculate Sac of Swog Treasures in a cave at 82.30, 73.17 Ohn’ahran Plains.
- Obtain 1 Gold Coin from fishing or harpooning in the dragon Isles
- You can exchange 15 bronze coins for 1 silver coin and 5 silver coins for 1 gold coin
- Exchange your gold coin for an Immaculate Sac of Swog Treasures
- Open the Immaculate Sac of Swog Treasures and obtain the Aquatic Shades toy
The Bubble Bath, The Dive Bar:
Next, you will need to head to the bubble bath, which is a dive bar.
- Make your way to 19.6, 36.5 The Waking Shores.
- Dive underwater to the dance pad
- Stand on the dance pad and you will automatically start dancing
- You will then obtain a debuff ‘Dance, Dance ‘Til You’re Dead’
- Remain still and wait for the debuff to time out, which will be 5 minutes
Hissing Grotto:
After the debuff Dance, Dance Til You’re Dead runs out, you will be teleported to the Hissing Grotto.
- Interact with the Barrel which will be right next to you
- Pickup the ‘Empty Fish Barrel’
- You will now need a specific requirement of fish to fill the barrel, this also needs to be done in this order.
- Fish 100 Frigid Floe Fish from open waters around Iskaar
- Click on the barrel to fill it with the 100 fish
- Then fish 25 Calamitous Carp from lava around the Obsidian Citadel
- Click on the barrel again to fill it with the 25 fish
- Fish 1 Kingfin, the Wise Whiskerfish from waters around Algeth’ar Academy
- Click on the barrel a final time to fill it with the last fish
The barrel will now be called ‘Overflowing Fish Barrel’ with the use being ‘Put the barrel back where you once found it’.
- Head over to Hissing Grotto 20.3, 39.7
- Right-click the barrel to use
- An otter will appear with a quest
- Accept the quest ‘The Way to an Otto’s Heart’
- Once you complete the quest you will now have the mount Otto
A special feature that this Otto mount has is that when using the Aquatic Shades toy, your Otto will also appear to have the shades on too!
