How to obtain The Magmashell Snail Mount in WoW Dragonflight
In this World of Warcraft mount guide, we will be covering all of the steps to obtain the new Magmashell snail mount that has come with the newest expansion, Dragonflight.
Empty Magma Shell:
First, you will need the item ‘Empty Magma Shell‘, this item drops from Lavaslurpers and Basalt Shell mobs.
You will need to travel to The Waking Shores to farm for this item. The mobs roughly spawn around here. However, in my personal experience, I have had the most luck with the packs that spawn around the lava worm at 27.26, 69.83
Empowered Snail:
Once you have obtained the Empty Magma Shell you will need to go to the lava pool in The Waking Shores which is roughly 70, 25. There will be an NPC in the pool of lava called ‘Empowered Snail‘. If this NPC is missing that means another player has interacted with this NPC and it will need to respawn or try another instance.
The NPC will be at the bottom of the lava pool, so be aware when interacting with this NPC that you will be taking damage from being in the lava. With the Empty Magma Shell in your inventory, you will be able to interact with this NPC and will begin to channel ‘Embiggening Snail‘ which will roughly be 20 seconds.
It is best to take a healer friend to help heal you while doing this interaction just so the lava doesn’t kill your character while completing the interaction. There is another way of going about this and it’s obtaining the Everlasting Horn of Lavaswimming toy that can be obtained in The Waking Shores.
Congratulations! Once the cast has been completed you will now have The Magmashell snail mount.
