WoW Dragonflight DPS Tier List
The below DPS rankings are based on raw damage in PVE, from both raids and DPS including survivability and the utility they bring to their groups. The top-ranking DPS will be explained in more detail below
Havoc Demon Hunter:
Demon hunters have had an incredible revamp with the new talent trees, bringing up both their single target and cleave damage. Demon hunters can now take multiple talents to buff up their “Throw Glaive” for insane single-target damage. And also take talents to buff out their “eye beam” making them potentially the best DPS spec of this tier
Their Maldraxxus ability “fodder to the flame” has also been kept in the havoc talent tree. Allowing demon hunters to randomly summon a demon they can explode and destroy packs in Mythic Plus.
Windwalker Monk:
Monk is coming out punching in Dragonflight, with its new talent tree. Heading down the middle of the Windwalker tree leads to a handful of devastating abilities.
Using “Teachings of the Monastery” allows monks to stack blackout kicks and proc additional rising sun kicks. This sounds great for a single target, but combining this with the “Shadowboxing Treads“ talen turns this into an incredible cleave ability.
On top of this huge AoE cleave damage, monks retain their top-tier mobility for mythic plus affixes and bring great buffs to the group such as “Close to the Heart” and “Generous Pour”.
Outlaw Rogue:
It wouldn’t be a new WoW expansion if Rogues didn’t have an overpowered spec, and this time it’s Outlaw. We’ve seen from BFA that rogue survivability always makes them heroes of mythic plus, but they also bring great utility in the form of “Shroud of Concealment” and multiple stuns.
Rogues also put out some of the best single-target damage. We highly recommend going down the right side of the talent tree to grab “Dreadblades“, giving rogues both a high-damage attack and a follow-up buff window. On top of this grabbing “Adrenaline Rush” will give you huge combo point refills to pump in those damaged windows.
