The Nokhud Offensive Mythic Plus Dungeon Guide - WoW Dragonflight
In this quick Nokhud Offensive Mythic Plus dungeon guide, we have covered a few tips and tricks with the mobs and paths you can take which can help your group time your key more efficiently.
Granyth Trash:
There are three main packs that need to be cleared in order to attack the first boss in the dungeon, these three packs all have something in common as they all have a Nokhud Lancemaster. These will be highlighted on the map for you appearing as three yellow circles.
However, before clearing the three main packs we recommend clearing two other packs because they both have unique mobs and as they are packs that move around the map these can be accidentally pulled by other party members, so we recommend clearing them first to avoid any wipes.
Cleaving Strikes – Tank needs to face the mob away from the party
War Stomp – Stuns players that are in melee range
Disruptive Shout – needs to be interrupted or it will spell lock you for 6 seconds
Shoot – unavoidable damage on random targets
Rain of Arrows – ground animation, side-step to avoid taking damage
Multi-shot – Frontal cone damage, can be avoided
Rally the clan – Increases the physical damage done by 50% of surrounding mobs, needs to be interrupted
Granyth:
The main mechanic of the fight is with the three dragonkiller lances, the boss will begin to cast ‘Eruption‘ and one of your party members will need to interact with dragonkiller lancer that is lit up blue.
Throughout the fight, there will be ads that spawn, these cannot be taunted and will run toward the dragonkiller lances to dismantle them. These ads need to be prioritized and need to be killed.
Raging Tempest Trash:
To be able to interact with the boss you first need to clear the 4 Stormsurge Totems, these will appear on the map as four yellow markers.
Tempest – AoE damage with a DoT that stacks, this can be dispelled but the cast itself can be stopped.
There are 4 stormcaller mobs that are spread across all packs.
Totemic Overload – AoE damage to everyone in range of the Stormsurge Totem (40 yards)
Chain Lightning – targets a random player, the spell will bounce to other players unless they are 10 yards away from everyone else
Thunder clap – Players in melee range will be hit
The Raging Tempest:
The biggest mechanic of the fight is with the Lightning Orbs, these need to be collected. This will grant players 5% increased damage and healing for 15 seconds and can be stacked. However, collecting an orb will do damage to the player so this needs to be spread equally between the party. Every player will also get a Lightning Strike which will explode any orbs in range.
Teera and Maruuk Trash:
Before you can interact with the boss you first need to defeat 4 Soulharvesters around the area, these will be marked on your map as yellow indicators.
We recommend aiming to get to 96% cleared trash here as there is a shortcut to the final boss which will only require your party to clear 2 mobs before reaching the final boss.
Death Boly Volley – AoE damage to everyone, this needs to be interrupted
Shatter Soul – Casted on 3 random players, deal 30% less damage, collect your soul back to get rid of this debuff or wait until the duration expires
Harvest Soul – heals the mob and increases damage when harvesting souls of dead allies
Grasp of the Dead – curse on 2 random party members, lasts 6 seconds, you will become immobilized once the duraction has expired
Chant of the dead – damage to everyone in melee range
Dominate – One of your party members will become mind controlled, this cast needs to be interrupted
Teera and Maruuk:
These two bosses share health so the best way to fight these bosses is to stack them together and cleave them down.
In mythic plus they will share Ancestral Bond, if Teera and Maruuk are more than 10 yards away from each other, their damage is increased by 10% every 1 second.
Gale Arrow – Will spawn 4 tornadoes on each player apart from the tank. These tornados will deal damage and knock back players if they come in contact
Repel – Summons a gust of wind that will knock back players from Maruuk
Quick Shot – Make sure all party members are above half health to prevent taking any extra damage
Spirit Leap – Teera will leap away in a random direction
Earthsplitter – Maruuk will slam the ground which will split the earth
Frightful Roar – Any players in range will be feared for 5 seconds
Brutalize – Tank buster
Balakar Khan Trash:
There is a massive shortcut opportunity here, if you have already reached 96% on trash cleared.
We have added a photo for reference of the pathing for this bit to make it a bit more easier to understand.
Mount up on your drake and follow the yellow arrow around. You will need to aim to land in the yellow circle.
From here you can sneak into the boss area.
There are two mobs that will need to be cleared before pulling the boss, these are mini-bosses that will grant 2% each and complete your trash count. They are called Batak and Balara.
Bloodcurdling Shout – Fears the whole party, this must be interrupted
Broad Stomp – Frontal cone, can be dodged, best if the tank faces the mob away from the party
Bloodcurdling Shout – Fears the whole party, must be interrupted
Vehement Charge – Will target a party member, knock back, and deals damage, this can be side stepped
Balakar Khan:
This boss has two phases and an intermission ad phase.
In phase one there is a small trick that can be done with Iron Spear. Balakar will target a random player. If the tank has the boss positioned next to the small rock in the boss arena. The player that is targeted can be positioned on the other side of the rock which will interrupt the follow-up charge from Balakar to collect the spear.
Once the boss reaches 60% this will start the Intermission ad phase. There will be 4 Nokhud Stromcasters that will cast Storm Bolt, these need to be interrupted as much as possible.
Iron Spear – Targets a random player then immediately charge to the spear
Upheaval – Targets players and is a knockback, can be dodged
Rending Strike – leaves a bleed on the target and increases damage from savage strike by 500%
Storm Bolt – damage to a targetted player, this needs to be interrupted
Stormwinds – Winds push players away from Balakar Khan
Conductive Strike – DoT and increases damage taken from Thunder Strike by 500%, this can be dispelled
Static Spear – Targets a random player then immediately charge to the spear
Crackling Upheaval – Targets players, knock back and damage
