FFXIV patch 6.3 - What is coming and when?

FFXIV Patch 6.3 release date:

Square Enix has confirmed on twitter that FFXIV patch 6.3: Gods Revel, Lands Tremble will release on January 10th. But not all content will release with this major patch. Some will be revealing in 6.31 and others as late as 6.35. Given the release dates of 6.2 and 6.25, it will likely be a whole 2 months before we see some of this content, so its important to break this down. So lets cover everything coming in FFXIV 6.3 and when will likely see it.

Patch 6.3

FFXIV patch 6.3 is where we will see the bulk of the new content, new story, new dungeons, trials and changes rolled back into the earlier expansions. FFXIV have confirmed all of the below will release with 6.3 on January 10th.

  • New MSQ – 6.3
  • New Alliance Raid – Myths of the Realm Euphrosyne
  • New Dungeon – Lapis Manalis (likely as part of the story)
  • New Trial (name kept secret)
  • New Unreal Trial – Containment Bay P1T6 (Unreal)
  • Tataru’s Grand Endeavor New Quest
  • Anden Custom Deliveries – Anden
  • New Treasure Hunt – The Shifting Gymnasion
  • Island Sanctuary Updates
  • New Arena for Crystaline Conflict
  • New Leap of Faith Course in The Gold Saucer

FFXIV patch 6.3

Patch 6.31

  • Ultimate Raid – The Omega Protocol (Ultimate) (Patch 6.31)

Patch 6.35:

  • New Deep Dungeon – Eureka Orthos (Eureka completion not required).
  • New Hildibrand Quests
  • New Tribal Quests – The Loporrits 
  • Second Part of Manderville Relic Weapons
  • Tool Enhancement Quests – Splendorous Tools 
 

Overall there is a big split of content between FFXIV 6.3 and patch 6.35. We will receive large updates to the story, along with a new dungeon and trial plus the alliance raid. But we will have to wait around 2 months for the new relic weapons, deep dungeon and tribal quests.
