With the introduction of elementalism, mages can now learn the new elementalism skills and learn a huge range of elemental spells, across a wide range of elements. Mages can now go across the world learning different spells elements in different cities, but require unique items to trade in that can’t be purchased with gold. So lets go over how to get elemental spells in this mortal online 2 elementalism guide.
Can You Learn Elementalism in Haven
Unlike normal spell schools, elementalism works a little differently. There are 2 parts to elementalism. The elementalism skills they you must level to be able to cast the spells, and then the elements.
You can learn the basics of the elementalism skills in Haven, but you can’t learn the actual elements needed to cast the spells. So although you won’t be casting any elemental spells, its a good idea to start learning the fundamental elementalism skills in haven
How To Learn Elementalism Skills
To learn elementalism, you must go to the elementalism trainer. There is an elementalism trainer in 3 different cities and they all teach the basics of elementalism, but teach different spells. First you must learn the skill to unlock elementalism:
- Skill: Theoretical Elementalism notes
Then there are 2 different tree’s of elementalism in the game, propulsion and aggregation. Each of these offers different spells, but you need the elements to cast spells within these 2 tree’s. So the fundamental skills and abilities you need to learn are the following from any of the 3 cities:
- Skill: Fundamentals of elemental population
- Skill: Aggregating Elemental Energies
- Scroll: Scroll of elemental propulsion
- Scroll: Elemental Aggregation scroll
The 3 locations you need to learn spells from and the elements you can learn are:
Tindrem: (North West City)
- Earth
- Fire
- Heat
- Dust
Toxai: (Eastern City)
- Earth
- Water
- Darkness
- Cold
Jungle Camp: (South City)
- Earth
- Air
- Light
- Vapor
Where To Get Rock Crystal Geodes and Lodestones
In order to get all of these elements, you cannot buy them with gold. You need to trade in crystals and geodes of the same value of the element. For example, Elemental Darkness in Toxai is 50s, so you would need to trade in 5 Crystal Geodes or 20 Lodestones, as that is the vendor value of those gems. You don’t buy them from the elementism trainer, but trade them at the desk nearby.
All of these crystals and geodes come from mining. As you hit rocks with a pickaxe, such as granum or calx, there is a small (1%) change to obtain a geode or other rare crystal. Farming these crystals is a very long and grindy process, but they can be purchased off the broker at a high price. As of writing this guide, Crystal geodes are around 40g and lodestones are around 10g. So its up to you if you want to grind by mining or by money making.

Is Elementalism Worth It in Mortal Online 2
Elementalism is one of the most powerful schools of magic right now. There are over 10 spells within this school from summoning lightening, throwing fireballs and using healing mist. It is hands down one of the most powerful mage schools for sheer damage. The AoE damage also makes it super important for wars or farming large groups of mobs.
Its great to see so many awesome spell added in elementalism and looking at the elementalism page of the spell book, we will likely see many more schools of magic added in the future.
