Blue Protocol is a new MMORPG based on Unreal Engine 4 and developed by Bandai Namco Studios. Blue Protocol is currently in closed beta testing and the gameplay features multiple classes, each with different skill sets in a stunning open world.
What is the world like?
The game is set in a world inhabited by both humans and monsters, where players will take control of one character from the five available classes – the fighter, striker, archer, spell caster, or smasher.
The world looks stunning and features large open areas, multiple dungeons of scaling levels, and difficulty with monsters and bosses. There are scaling cities that look beautiful with a working day/night cycle.
What are the classes in Blue Protocol?
There are 4 unique classes in Blue Protocol and we’ll talk about them below:
Aegis Fighter – A close-range master of swords and shields with amazing defensive skills. Some of these look fantastic and this looks like your typical paladin or tank character
Twin Striker – A close-range dual axe-wielding powerhouse. this class looks like a fiery beserker that swings two axes around for some awesome combos
Blast Archer – mid to long-range magic bow user that can vary between strong attacks and support. A unique take on the archer class mixing fantasy and technology.
Spellcaster – A long-range wizard capable of raising different elements to barrage their enemy and burn down foes.
Heavy Smasher – a close to mid-range class with a heavy hammer to smash and blow through its enemies. This looks like an absolute chad of a class and we can’t wait to try it.
When can you play Blue Protocol?
The game is currently being beta-tested and set for an initial release exclusive to Japan in 2023. There are currently no planned release dates outside of Japan, but we usually see these exclusives released after a year or so to the rest of the world.
What Does Blue Protocol Cost?
The game is set to release completely free.
