Which Diablo 4 Class Should You Play?

What class should you play in Diablo 4? Diablo 4 is an ARPG developed by Blizzard entertainment and hosts some of the best action combat around. If we follow previous Diablo games there will likely be very competitive and challenging end game content. So choosing the right Diablo 4class is super important.

Each of the classes can have totally unique builds, but usually specialise around 3 major features in their skill tree. You can select a hybrid of skills, or can focus on mastering one. Each of the classes also have an ultimate ability that can chosen at the end of each of the talent trees. Where you can pick one of three on offer.

Diablo 4 classes

Barbarian

Diablo 4 Barbarian

The Diablo 4 Barbarian follows the same format as Diablo 3, they are a huge raging warrior that can equip a range of weapons while charging into combat. Barbarians use inner rage to run at full speed and deal huge melee damage to enemies. 

the key feature of Barbarians in Diablo 3 is their “Walking Arsenal”. They can equip 6 weapons at all times, switching them when they need too. So you can charge in with a 2 handed weapons and then switch up for something more defensive when needed.

The Barbarian talent tree is made up of the following specific skill types:

 FuryWeapon Mastery, Brawling

Rogue

Diablo 4 Rogue    

The Diablo 4 Rogue is a new class that focuses on 2 playstyles. Ranged combat with a bow, and then agile melee combat with single target weapons. 

The rogue can take out foes at range with fast rapid fire shots, laying the whole map with arrows, and then darting in so take out enemies. Their speciality allows them to imbue the weapons with a range of ailments such as cold, shadow and poison and they also have traps to keep enemies at range. This will be a very popular and super unique Diablo 4 class.

The Rogue talent tree is made up of the following skill types:

Agilitysubterfuge, imbuements

Sorcerer

Diablo 4 Sorcerer    

The Diablo 4 Sorcerer is a similar class to the diablo 3 wizard. They use a range of ranged spells, wielding either a staff or a wand and focus

The sorcerer can focus on 3 schools of magic; Frost, pyromancy and shock. Frost is useful for freezing, immobilising and keep enemies away. Pyromancer sacrifices defence for huge fire damage. Finally their shock very useful for AoE, with chain lightening and other spreading magic.

The Sorcerer talent tree is made up of the following skill types:

ForstPyromancy, Shock

Druid

Diablo 4 Druid    

The Diablo 4 Druid is another completely new Diablo 4 class which focuses on both up close combat and transformations. There druid will be able to engage enemies from afar, turn into one of their forms and charge into melee.

The druid uses a mixture of nature and shapeshifting, allowing it for focus on its magical abilities of Earth and Storm, or its transformations of werewolf and werebear. On top of this the druid also has two wolf companies that can be used in battle.

The Druid talent tree is made up of the following skill types:

SpiritCompanion, Wrath

Necromancer

The Diablo 4 Necromancer is similar to the Diablo 3 version. The necromancer focuses on ranged magic and summoning an army of minions.

The necromancer will be able to raise an army of skeletons and talents will let you choose if these are ranged, melee, shielded or magical skeletons. On top of this you’ll be able to wield darkness, bone and blood to both barrage your enemies and control the battlefield.

The Necromancer talent tree is made up of the following skill types:

UndeadBone, Darkness
