Diablo 4 Summoner Sorcerer Build - Infinite Summons

This Diablo 4 Summoner Sorcerer Build is a combination of the well known ice shard build, with the addition of summons. Ice Shard sorcerer is one of the strongest Sorcerer Builds in Diablo 4. But I’ve been trying for a few days to try and make it better. And I’ve think I’ve finally found a build that I think is perfect for pushing the endgame. And that’s an Ice blades build.

It has all the burst damage from the Ice Shard, Ice Nova build, but then has amazing single target damage and crazy fast cooldowns due to the Ice Blades. The ice shard build is designed around popping a shield, teleporting into a group of mobs, freezing them and then bursting them down in massive AoE damage. I used an ice shard build while levelling and its fantastic, but now with ice blades, and with this crazy cooldown trick, this build is busted. I’m clearing Tier 4, level 70 plus content with easy and having so much fun.

Gameplay and Playstyle

The way this diablo 4 summoner sorcerer build works is as follows: Ice blades has a natural cooldown of 16 seconds, but if we get a ton of cooldown reduction gear we can get this down really low. I have the cooldown at 9.7 seconds right now with 39% cooldown reduction. AND in the skilltree there is an ability that lets ice blades cooldown reduce by 0.5 seconds per hit on a vulnerable enemy, which will be everyone on our ice build.

AND if you enhance it, there is an additional perk that means an ice blade will be automatically summoned every 40 seconds of cooldown you use, but we can get this down to 33 seconds with a certain node in the paragon board.

AND then finally, the final perk in the ice blade skill, which brings it all together is that 20% of these cooldown benefits will be affect your other abilities. So what all this means is we will be making a TON of iceblades, either through direct casting or them spawning passively. And these ice blades will be reducing the cooldown of themselves and of our other abilities. Meaning you’ll have ice shard, teleport, frost nova and deep freeze up constantly.

Best Stats for the Diablo 4 Summoner Sorcerer Build

Here are the best stats to be looking for on your gear:

  1. Cooldown reduction
  2. Cold/Frost Damage
  3. Damage To Close Enemies
  4. Damage To Vulnerable Enemies
  5. Ice Shard Ranks
  6. Ice Blade Ranks

Legendary Aspects

Below are the best Legendary Aspects. Now all are required, but the more of these you have, the stronger and more versatile this build becomes:

  • Aspect of control – to deal more damage to frozen enemies.
    • Complete Sunken Temple
  • Aspect of Piercing Coldto give your ice shards piercing
    • Complete Dead Mans Dredge
  • Conceited Aspect – increases your damage when you have a barrier active. And because this is such an offensive build, you’ll need these barriers.
    • Random Legendary Drop
  • Aspect of the protector – Damaging an elite enemy gives you a barrier for 10 seconds
    • Complete Lost Archives Dungeon
  • Everliving aspect – take less damage from vulnerable enemies
    • Random Legendary Drop

Unique Items

For this build you don’t NEED any uniques, but the below 2 will really help you group up enemies and them beat them faster.

We would be looking for Iceheart Brais to make enemies unleash a frost nova when defeated and we’d take Raement of the Infinite which allows us to bring everything together once we teleport in.

Enhancement and Gems

For this build to work you want to enhance the following 2 abilities:

  • Ice Shards – This means that when an enemies is frozen ice shards will automatically fly out and hit enemies
  • Ice Blades – This enchantment means that for every 40 seconds of cooldowns used (reduced to 33 with a certain paragon point), an ice blade will automatically summon.

Best Gems:

We’d look to take the following gems in the following slots:

  • Weapon – Emerald for vuln damage
  • Armor – Ruby for extra life
  • Jewellery – Skulls for extra armour

Paragon Board And Glyphs

For The paragon board we want to do the following:

Head straight up, grab the glyph slot and attach the control glyph. The head north and attach the frigid fate board. On this board, grab the legendary not, and the glyph slot attaching conjurer and make sure you get enough points around it to activate it.

Then you want to head left on the enchantment master for the legendary node to reduce our enchantment from 40 seconds to 33 seconds. And on the right side we want to add the icefall board, get the legendary glyph and grab the glyph slot and attach exploit.

I’ve attached a rough idea on D4builder of how this should looks. Check out the attached d4 builder paragon board Once you have these, they are the core of the build and should carry you upto 70-80. Then feel free to customise this however best suits your playstyle.
