There is an upcoming MMORPG expected for 2024 called ArcheAge 2 with a publishing agreement between XLGAMES and Kakao Games.
They have recently released the first teaser for Archeage 2 which we’d like to share with you all.
What has been confirmed?
ArcheAge 2 will be developed in Unreal Engine 5
The lore and story will be written by Jeon Min-hee
Several races will make an appearance in ArcheAge 2 which were originally planned for ArcheAge.
There will be a player housing system
Players will be able to captain ships which can be used for trade and naval warfare
Open world
Will be available on PC and consoles
Sandbox MMORPG
Scheduled for 2024
Overview:
From the teaser, they have shown quite a lot of the action combat that will be coming with the game in some amazing graphics. They are working hard with over 100 developers to bring this game to life. There are huge plans for this new sandbox MMORPG as combat will not be the only main focus of this game.
The previous ArcheAge games have a unique combat system where you can make your class unique to other players in the game, this keeps the game interesting and different with every character you make. It would be interesting to see if the developers decide to bring this to the new ArcheAge 2 in 2024.
